Terms & Conditions

These Terms are a contract between you and LI4K ("LI4K", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using LI4K, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use LI4K.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may hold only one personal account.

• Give accurate details and keep your email address up to date.
• Choose a username that is unique and isn't offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else. Usernames can't be changed, so if one breaks these rules we may close the account.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account; tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

LI4K offers a free Daily Wrap, paid guided audits with AI Recaps, memberships, and group plans for up to five people. Features marked "proposed" or "beta" may change or be withdrawn. We work to keep LI4K available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may carry out maintenance.

• Prices are shown in Naira (₦), or as an approximate US Dollar ($) amount for visitors outside Nigeria. All payments are charged in Naira, and your bank may convert the amount.
• Payments are processed by Paystack and are subject to Paystack's terms.
• One-off audits unlock a single specified audit and never renew. Once purchased, a completed audit stays viewable in your account.
• Memberships (monthly or yearly) renew automatically at the end of each period, charged to your saved payment method, until you cancel.
• Discounted or promotional prices apply for the period stated. If we change a membership price, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
• Unused audit allowances in a membership period don't roll over unless the plan says they do.

• You can cancel a membership anytime in Account → Billing. You keep access until the end of the current paid period; we don't charge again.
• If an AI Recap fails to generate, you can retry at no extra cost. If we can't deliver it within 7 days, we'll refund that purchase.
• We'll refund duplicate charges and charges made in error. Email li4k.support@gmail.com within 14 days.
• A new yearly membership can be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of first purchase if you haven't started a paid audit in that time.
• Otherwise, payments for periods already started and audits already completed aren't refundable.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 or other applicable consumer law.

• The person who buys a group plan is the group owner. They pay for it, invite up to four others, and can remove members.
• Each member keeps their own account and controls what they share. Daily Wraps are never shared; a group recap uses only answers members choose to share.
• Treat what others share with respect and confidence. Don't screenshot, copy or share another member's reflections outside the group without their permission.
• If the owner cancels, the group's paid features end at the end of the paid period. Members keep their private entries.

You own everything you write in LI4K. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display your content solely to provide the service to you (and, for content you choose to share, to your group), including sending it to our AI provider to generate your recaps. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep by law. We don't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

You agree not to:

• use LI4K for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, abuse or harm anyone;
• post another person's private information without their consent;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with LI4K's security or systems;
• scrape, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service or its question bank;
• use the AI features to generate harmful, illegal or misleading content;
• create accounts automatically or share your account with others.

The LI4K name, logo, design, software, audit question bank and recap formats belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only as part of using LI4K under these Terms.

You can stop using LI4K and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and explain why. If we close your account without good reason, we'll refund any unused prepaid period.

Apart from the commitments in these Terms, LI4K is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't make other promises about the service, including about the accuracy of AI-generated content.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on AI Recaps or other content. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a problem, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may refer the dispute to mediation, and if that fails, to the Nigerian courts. This doesn't affect your right to complain to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

We may update these Terms as LI4K grows. For significant changes, we'll give you at least 14 days' notice by email or in the app. If you keep using LI4K after the changes take effect, the new Terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
